CHANCE VOUGHT F4U CORSAIR

A pair of heavily weathered F4U Corsairs, presumably somewhere in the Pacific. Configuration of the national insignia dates this photo to sometime after August 14, 1943. Cowl ring and prop hub on each aircraft is white, as are the numbers on the fuselage.   The foreground aircraft has somekind if figure, possibly a hula girl, painted on the cowl.
