VOUGHT-SIKORSKY X0S2U-1 KINGFISHER

An excellent factory shot of the prototype Kingfisher sitting on a ground dolly, taken July 29, 1938.  Painted overall aluminum with flat black wing walks, along with red/white/blue prop tip stripes. Note that the wing walks lap over the wing leading edge.   Location of the photo is unknown but is most likely the Vought-Sikorsky plant in Stratford, Connecticut.
